Hi, I'm Annie. I believe great communication builds strong communities. I believe putting your audience first builds trust. And, maybe most importantly, I believe communicating well is a form of respect — for people's time, intelligence, and perspective.

I started my career as a journalist. It taught me to ask good questions, to listen, and to tell a story that gives people the whole truth — thorough, honest, and compelling. That instinct never left me.

For more than a decade, I've brought it to communications and marketing. I build teams and the systems that let them do their best work. I shape strategy, but still love the craft itself, the writing and editing and getting a single sentence right. I'm happiest working with good people on complicated problems, figuring out how all the pieces fit together.
