A little more about me

I’m curious by nature. I ask questions, solve problems, make plans and figure out what to do when those plans inevitably go sideways.

I’m an organizer, an optimist — and a recovering perfectionist. I work hard, care deeply and have finally learned that done really can be better than perfect. I believe fun is good and humor is necessary. I’m serious about my work — not myself.

And I’m a word nerd.

Give me 500 words and ask me to make them 300, and I am genuinely delighted. Debate Oxford commas with me and know I had a passion for the em dash long before AI made it fashionable.

I also believe small things matter. Making someone feel seen doesn’t always require a grand gesture — sometimes it’s paying attention, remembering what matters to them, and taking the time to get something right.

Outside of work, I’m a mom, wife, and sister, proud VCU alum, beach lover, traveler, reader, and unapologetic TV binge watcher.

I like smart people I can learn from, kind people and people who say what they mean. Trust matters to me. So does showing up.

I work hard. I care a lot. I show up. And I try to bring joy with me when I do.
